The company currently has a 30-member R&D technical team. All team members have years of experience in cosmetic R&D and extensive expertise in formula development. They specialize in formulating various categories of color cosmetics covering general liquid systems, cream and emulsion systems, wax-based systems, and powder systems. New formulas of different categories are launched to the market every month. Meanwhile, we also provide customized formula services for clients.

Our expert laboratory, separately established by our company in Minhang District, Shanghai, mainly focuses on research of sunscreen products, as well as the application of encapsulation carriers for active ingredients and plant extracts.
School of International Cosmetics, Shanghai Institute of Technology
Orain has formed in-depth research cooperation with the School of International Cosmetics, Shanghai Institute of Technology, a leading institution nationwide for training cosmetic professionals. The two sides collaborate on research projects covering encapsulation carrier technology and innovative emulsification systems, aiming to jointly develop new technologies and applications that are more adaptable to color cosmetic formulas.
